Awards given to the most valuable recyclers in Zrenjanin!

The Knjaz Miloš company presented awards to the most valuable recyclers within the “Smart Recycle” project in Zrenjanin. The best recyclers Ivan Ogrizović, Dejan Krupljanin, Snežana Mihajlov and Radojka Jakšić were awarded bicycles, because during June, the Month of Knjaz’s partners, they inserted the most packaging units into smart devices for collecting used water and beverage packaging.

“We are very pleased that together with our partners and the citizens of Zrenjanin, we are participating in the environmental initiative and project “Recycle Smartly”, which through smart devices, placed in 12 locations in the city, enables the citizens of Zrenjanin to return used water and beverage packaging, helping to dispose of and recycle properly. We congratulate all the winners for their contribution to the preservation of our environment“, said Milana Petrović, manager for public and corporate affairs and sustainability of the Knjaz Miloš company.

The prize competition lasted from June 1 to June 30, and the citizens of Zrenjanin, who during June recycled the used packaging of cans, PET, Tetra Pak and glass packaging with the “Recycle” sticker, bought in IDEA and Roda stores, had the opportunity to win bike every week.

The award competition was organized as part of the “Smart Recycle” project, which through the develoPPP program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is jointly implemented by GIZ, Ball Packaging, Sekopak, Solagro Smart Recycling, Mercator-S, Reverse Logistics Group, and in cooperation with NALED and the program “Every can counts”, as well as five companies producing water and beverages, among them Knjaz Miloš.
