Belgrade, May 19, 2017 – Hundreds of kids from Mladost elementary school in Belgrade took the advantage of nice weather to celebrate the Week of School Sports.
Elementary school students performed exercises from the program “Let’s Get Our Children Moving”, which was started by Aqua Viva brand in cooperation with Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and Serbian Association of Physical Education and Sports Teachers and which is currently successfully implemented in schools all around Serbia.
Putting smiles on kids faces, creating an opportunity for kids to play with their peers and showing commitment to implementation of the program which promotes physical activity and healthy life style are all great incentives to other schools to continue with similar activities that will include even more children of different age.
Exercises included in the program have been carefully designed to allow children to practice in classrooms, playgrounds and parks, through play and while socializing with their friends, with an ultimate goal of making this program a part of every school day.
Aqua Viva organized trainings for teachers from all elementary schools in Serbia, creative exercise materials and support of experts from the field of science, education and medicine. With an aim of preventing various deformities and under the slogan “Let’s make every school day active”, students and their teachers will continue to perform various model exercises during the next school year.
