Knjaz Miloš in the full ownership of the Mattoni 1873 group

Mattoni 1873, the largest producer of mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages in Central Europe, acquired a minority stake (46.43%) in Knjaz Miloš from PepsiCo, becoming the sole owner of the leading producer of mineral water and energy drinks on the domestic market. The value of the transaction is almost 90 million euros.

The Mattoni 1873 group operates in 8 countries, with 3,400 employees, 11 production plants, and 39 brands, such as Knjaz Miloš, Mattoni, Magnesia, Szentkirályi, Waldquelle, and others. In the Czech Republic, Austria, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mattoni 1873 is the exclusive producer and distributor of PepsiCo’s brand of soft drinks. In 2023, on all markets in which it operates, this European group sold almost 2 billion bottles.
